Revisiting Becky’s pandas…

Miho (jap actress) went to the same panda research center Becky had gone to a year earlier, to search for the 5 baby pandas Becky had looked after then – an-chan, melon, jya-mu, ka-re and ro-ru… An-chan is still as sweet as ever :)

Hahhaa… such a challenging task to measure each of their weight. They have ballooned from abt 15kg to 50kg each within a yr! And miho brought them a surprise present too – a video recording of Becky’s message to the baby pandas… and they all remembered her… by hugging or touching the TV.

Based on the video below, it seems that you can’t leave two baby pandas with one mama panda at one time as she will tend to care for one and abandon or even kill the other one (the weaker child). In this case, this mama panda gave birth to twins. The solution? The research centre personnel has to swap the panda in the cage every now and then so that they can still bond with the mama panda and yet get its full attention.

Ayeeeee!!!! You actually need to massage the baby pandas as they are still very young and don’t really use their limbs/ move about very often. Here’s how you are supposed to do it:

So cuteeeee – the way the baby pandas are “crying” out for milk. And you need to burp them after they are done with feeding.. just like a human child.

Did you know what mama pandas do when their baby pandas fall asleep? They hug them as they sleep so that the baby panda will feel secured and have a good sleep.
