7 days to go...

7 days to go before the launch... countdown usually stresses me out. So little time, yet so many things to accomplish. Take a look at it from another point of view. A positive one. 7 MORE days to go before enjoying the sweet success (hopefully) of your labour throughout these days.

I'm going nuts. I'm losing sleep? I'm losing sleep!

I can never comprehend why some people just can't be on time. And the existence of many definitions to the phrase "I'll be there in 5mins". 5mins = 15mins/ 20 mins/ 30 mins and even to the extent of 1 hour late. Time is losing and seconds are at their wits' end.

What's to be done when none is of my fault? What's to be at stack when all else crumble and fall? What's there to lose when one's faith is nothing but a facade of illusion of self "selfishness"?

Nothing.

All that's at stack is a worthless thing called "self-justification" - a form of self-denial and self-existence: using life's failures and success to create an equation. An equation to sum your worth and define your existence. An endless pursue to match other's expectations of yourself and justifying life's unblanced sum of failures and success with a mathematical equation that's oblivious to us all.

What's there to mind? What's there to hide?

It's all in the mind. "Self"? What a selfish word, a selfish prefix to undermine existence.

sick

ahhhhh!!! This is so irritating... I'm getting sick again. This time round, it's due to flu and sore throat (plus cough). Haven't got the time to go see a doc yet, so I'm surviving on leftover medicine from previous appointments.

I've also been missing out on my yoga.. Oh dear! I'm afraid i'll morph into notre dame soon. I've been sub-conciously curling up my spine and didn't realize it until I happen to glance at my own reflection (be it lift mirror whatever). Damn!

Family Trip

Finally!!!! After 23 yrs and 2 mths, my family finally went for our first overseas trip!

Headed for BKK on 27th Oct and was back on 30th Oct. But I only went back to work on the 1st Nov as I was on MC on 30th Oct.

Why? All b'coz of my brother lah! I'm one of those who can't sleep in an air-con room for too long but he, on the other hand, loves it. So you can imagine, he left the room temperature at 22 degrees and when i step into the room, i'm like freezing!!!! Not to mention that it was really damn hot outdoors. So in the end, I caught the flu bug - but only when I was back did it catch up on me.

My father was much worse. He got diahorrea on his 2nd night (must be the steamboat dinner we had as he must've forgotten to soak his chopsticks long enough to kill the germs after clipping the raw food) and was confined to the hotel room for the rest of the trip.

My sister is still recovering from her sprained ankle and she blamed her "slow-ness" on that. My god! I could have spent much less yet bought much more at Chatuchak if not for her! It's destined. She's not suited to shop in places like that. So in the end, being the good sister that I am, I accomodated her shopping speed and accompanied her to those little shops near the hotel instead. Result? I spent more than S$300 on 2 dresses. That excludes my other shopping '"trophies" - which came to abt S$1000 in total. I even had to borrow 6000 baht from my dad. Wahahaha!

My mom fared quite well and we were actually quite surprised that it was my dad who couldn't get used to it. But my mom didn't spend much either and she keep pushing us to spend her 500 baht for her... hahaha!

What a family...
