Lasik surgery (2nd attempt)

YEAH!!!! This time round, we did it on my right eye instead and it went on rather smoothly. So right now, I'm in a really awkward situation. My left eye is as blind ass a bat when I try to see things that are far away. While my right eye sees much clearly when things are far away. Haiz.

Guess I'll have to bear with it for another 1 to 2 weeks till the cornea heals. Going for a follow-up check up tml morning for my right eye. Wonder wat the doc will say.

In the meantime, it's back to contact lens for my left eye till m next operation. Damn... may have to go for 7.46am surgery ad head back to work immediately after that as I was not allowed to take any more MCs (coz it's a new boss i'm reporting to). #@!*#@!~ *Swear/ Curse*

Lasik surgery (1st attempt)

WHY ME?????
There were problems with the eye suction and had to abort the surgery. Something to do with my eye (or a particular part of it) being too small. I am soooooo disappointed and traumatised now... Believe me. I would have cursed and swore if anyone were to irritate me any further.

My left eye's pretty sore for now. But due to some really annoying work commitments, I will attempt again tomorrow for this eye or the other (depending on what the doc says) and another time next year for my "left-over" eye (god knows when).

Haiz... I'll rattle more on the annoying work commitments again, after I get at least one of the eyes done. It's traumatising. I'm paranoid. What IF after all these while, I still can't get past the suction problem? Guess it will mean "SAYONARA" forever to lasik for me and I'll be back to wearing glasses and contact lens once more.

Traumatised & Disappointed Me.

Lasik (Pre-assessment)

Went for the pre-assessment test this morning. Spent a long 4-hour "treatment" at SNEC. Cold. The doctor was pleased to inform that my cornea's very thick and suitable for the surgery.

Had some stinging eye drops induced into my eyes... it stung so much I cried once it got into contact with my eyes. I couldn't see from near (due to the eye drops) nor far (due to myopia). I was practically hit with a real bad headache and got pretty dizzy coz I couldn't really see. My eye muscles became far too relaxed and my pupils were dilated. So much so that I found it hard to adjust to the surroundngs. But no worries. Here I'm typing in one piece.

Fear... Tml's the surgery for my left eye. Wonder how it'll turn out. Guess i better get to sleep now. I think i'll be traumatised.
